224 students have been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Emmanuel College celebrated its 96th Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 12, 2018, adding hundreds of graduates to the global network of Emmanuel alumni who are making their mark on the world. Nationally-recognized sports journalist, author and television broadcaster Jackie MacMullan delivered the Commencement address and received an honorary degree. The College also conferred honorary degrees on Charles F. Monahan Jr., president of MCPHS University, and Sister Mary Alice McCabe, SNDdeN, who has dedicated her life to serving others in Brazil and Nicaragua. While touching on current issues such as the #MeToo movement and immigration, speakers delivered messages of courage and determination in the face of adversity.

The Empire 8 Conference announced that 11 of Elmira College's varsity teams were awarded E8 All-Academic Team status and 71 student-athletes were named to the President's List in recognition of their outstanding work in the classroom.

James Madison University is pleased to announce the names of the students who made the dean's list for the spring 2018 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May 2018. Students who received the honor of summa cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64. Students are only graduated after the Registrar's Office has certified that all degree requirements have been successfully completed. Participating in the commencement ceremony is the act of honoring and celebrating academic achievement.

Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its spring 2018 Dean's List for full-time students.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Lasell College held its 164th commencement on May 12, granting 398 Baccalaureate degrees and 125 Master's degrees, before an audience packed with family, friends, and members of the Lasell community on Taylor Field. Commencement speaker Donato Tramuto, president and founder of the nonprofit Health eVillages, shared with graduates his steps toward success with many stories from his own experiences growing up and becoming a corporate leader. The audience also heard messages from Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander, who addressed both undergraduate and graduate recipients. Alexander encouraged them to dream big and to embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 600 students to the Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

On Sunday, May 13, Assumption College awarded 617 degrees during its 101st Commencement exercises held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA, in which speaker The Most Reverend Robert E. Barron, S.T.D., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and evangelist who uses various forms of media, in particular social media, to share the Gospel message and one of the most-followed Catholics on social media, delivered the Commencement address.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

The Assumption College Office of Student Affairs has announced that 24 students have been selected among a significant pool of applicants to serve as 2018 Orientation Leaders.

Assumption College honored 73 students with awards for academic excellence during the 34th Annual Honors Convocation, held on April 23 in the Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall. Awards ranged from departmental honors to special recognitions, to Augustine Scholarships, the College's highest academic honor.
