Assumption College's 97th Commencement ceremony was held on May 17 on the campus's H.L. Rocheleau Field, where 463 Bachelor of Arts degrees; 217 graduate studies degrees (Master of Arts and Master of Business Administration) and certificates; and 35 Continuing and Career Education degrees (Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, and associates) were awarded.

Hofstra University is proud to announce the Spring 2014 Provost's List, an elite group of students who have earned a perfect, 4.0 grade point average.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average(GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.

At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology to addresses an important societal need or issue. About two-thirds of students complete a project at one of the university's 35 off-campus project centers, which are located around the world. A signature element of the innovative undergraduate experience at WPI, the project-based curriculum offers students the opportunity to apply their scientific and technical knowledge to develop thoughtful solutions to real problems that affect the quality of people's lives--and make a difference before they graduate.

17 members of Assumption's class of 2014 were honored with the prestigious Crown and Shield Award. This award recognizes students who have distinguished themselves throughout their four years at Assumption in the areas of leadership and service. The recipients of these awards have protected (shield) and furthered (crown) the interests of the student body and Assumption College in various areas of leadership and community service. They were nominated by faculty, staff and administration.

The following people recently were initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

The Ripon College Orchestra will present its final concert of the season at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, April 27. The concert will be presented in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts, on the Ripon College campus. Admission is free.

Colby-Sawyer, the biannual print alumni magazine published by Colby-Sawyer College, features accomplishment stories of current students as well as graduates, collegiate event narratives, and institutional developments in order to keep the alumni body connected to its alma mater.

Students at Ripon College earn coveted spot to participate in the National Band Association's Wisconsin Chapter College All Star Band.

Local students will be apart of Ripon College's production of the award-winning Wisconsin musical "The Spitfire Grill." The Colby-Sawyer Field Hockey team was picked to finish 9th in this year's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) standings, according to a vote by conference coaches. Led by Head Coach Emily Rinde-Thorsen and Assistant Coach Paige Kingsley, the team is comprised of 24 student-athletes, including six first-year students, nine sophomores and nine juniors.

The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., today announced that 811 students have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2013 semester. Full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail are eligible for the Dean's List.
